MEET THE ORTHODONTIST
Dr. Elise Boersma obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree at McMaster University, and then attended dental school at the University of Sydney, Australia where she graduated with Honours.
After graduating from dental school, Dr. Boersma continued to live and work in Australia. She practiced as a general dentist for 5 years and taught part-time as a clinical instructor at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Sydney.
Dr. Boersma went on to complete her orthodontic training and Masters of Oral Biology at the University of California, Los Angeles. Her research was clinical based and looked at the effects of a novel mini-implant assisted rapid palatal expander in an early and late treatment group.
Dr. Boersma is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, and a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, Canadian Association of Orthodontists, and the Ontario Association of Orthodontists.
When not at the office, she enjoys the outdoors, swimming, hiking, cooking, baking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Boersma loves being part of the Grimsby community and is involved in local community events.
MEET THE TEAM
TORI
Tori is a Registered Dental Hygienist who graduated from Niagara College with honours in 2015. Since graduating, Tori has had hands-on training and received her orthodontic certification at the Orthodontic Studio in Toronto.
Tori thrives in an upbeat, fast-paced environment and loves being part of giving someone the beautiful smile they’ve always dreamed of.
In her spare time, Tori enjoys the outdoors, playing volleyball and spending time with her family and her new golden retriever, Maple.
SANTA
Santa is a Certified Level II Dental Assistant who has been in the orthodontic field for over 20 years. She loves the fast pace of orthodontics, and seeing how someone's smile transformation can build their confidence.
When she is not at work helping create beautiful smiles, she is busy taking care of her three children and their little dog Lily. In her free time, she enjoys trying out new recipes, walking, and spending time with family and friends.
KATE
Kate is a seasoned receptionist with over 22 years of dental experience. She recently joined our practice, and is thrilled to be a part of the team! She is absolutely passionate in helping our patients achieve their beautiful smile.
She has two wonderful daughters, and recently moved to Grimsby with her husband. Kate is looking forward to getting to know the community and their new hometown. She enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, live music and sports.

We also offer the latest in technology. We use digital x-rays for diagnosis and treatment planning which will reduce the amount of exposure to you or your child. In addition, we use a 3D intra-oral scanner to eliminate the need for taking impressions or molds. Combined with artificial intelligence, we are able to determine how your teeth will move during treatment. We strive for excellence and use appliances and products that have been proven to be effective. Our ultimate goal is to have you leave our office with a smile on your face.
